Description

Here is some ideas for hardening SSH:

  • Disable X11 Forwarding
  • Disable PermitRootLogin. Always sudo
  • Disable PasswordAuthentication
  • Disable weak ciphers
  • Limit user/group who can use SSH

This is not an exhaustive list, and more items may be added later.
